Augmented Reality in a MakerspaceIn a partnership with Global Ties Akron, who is committed to linking Akron globally,  the NIHF STEM MS learners shared their learning with a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic. The visit focused on the Maker Movement in STEM. The tour included student presentations with a virtual reality tour to the International Space Station, VR tour of the city of Akron created by STEM Learners, augmented reality with Merge Cube inspiration, 3D pen design, Ozobot Tournament Challenge, Meccanoid robot programming, and a green screen talk show immersion. Guests were personally engaged in the hands-on learning center which prepares students for the rapidly-changing technology-driven future ahead of them. This rigorous experience provides authentic innovative experiences that inspire creativity, foster inventive critical thinking, cultivating leadership and problem-solving skills.
