CyberPatriot is a program where participants learn cybersecurity skills and tactics to prevent computers from being hacked. Participants then use these skills to compete against all of the other middle schools in the nation to see who is the best at securing computers. The competition and the program are all designed to get kids interested and prepared for the Information Technology field. This year at STEM, we had 3 teams compete and do fantastic in this year’s competition. Emily McGuire, Malina Canterbury, Olivia Dunn, Pyper Taylor, and Arista Ames received the 3rd Place State Award.
