This is always a busy time of year for the NIHF STEM Middle School Music Department. Our learners have been working hard all year in preparation for these performances and continue to flourish as musicians.

The NIHF STEM Middle School 8th graders recently performed in Akron Public Schools' Winter Concert Series. Every middle school in Akron Public Schools attended each of these three adjudicated events. NIHF STEM Band, Orchestra, and Choir learners performed at their respective concerts and were able to listen to other ensembles from different parts of the district. The adjudicators critiqued our learners in the following categories: Tone, Intonation, Interpretation, and Technique and provided an overall performance rating. All of our 8th-grade groups received superior and excellent ratings for their performances, and we are so proud!
