NIHFSTEM learners chosen for their exceptional animal enrichment prototype designs, worked with the Akron Zoo team to build the lifesize enrichment toy that the zoo will introduce in the zoo habitats. On May 15th, these learners will be traveling to the Akron Zoo to see their enrichment designs as they are introduced to the animals for the very first time. A live stream of the event is also planned for learners at the school and parents at home or work to engage in the experience as it happens.
