NIHF STEM is proud to be a part of the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association. Our after school program inspires our learners in future careers of cybersecurity and STEM fields. Our school promotes three teams of learners who have been participating in the National Youth Cyber Defence Competitions in which they are in charge of securing virtual networks with high rankings. Our school has three teams who have placed second, third and sixth place in state competitions. The upcoming closed semi-final competition will be held on January 25h. The learners have been learning several different operating systems in Windows 7 environments to update, install, and uninstall software. We wish our teams success as they prepare for this important statewide competition.
