Some of the best young science and engineering minds gathered for the Annual APS Science,Technology, Engineering and Math EXPO. This is the first year for the brand new Ellet CLC to host the 64-year-old event, and the new venue received rave reviews from the hundreds of participants and onlookers.
Last Saturday, nearly 400 Akron Public Schools students demonstrated their wizardry in science, technology, engineering and math. In conjunction with the EXPO, high school physics students were charged with making (and sometimes breaking) 98 bridges at the 11th Annual Bridge Competition.
We thought we'd share some of the wonderful images captured by Akron Public Schools Instructional Specialist Joanne Isaac.
