Flat Leo Welcomes Learners Back to School

Flat Leonardo da Vinci Welcomes Learners Back to School
Posted on 03/24/2021
Learners at the National Inventors Hall of Fame were welcomed back to school on March 15th  by this year’s resident inventor, Leonardo da Vinci. Flat Leo, as our learners affectionately call him, was digitally designed by Larry who is featured in the picture. As we wanted to continue our school’s community partnerships this year, we decided we would travel through the eyes of a resident inventor. The learners considered over 30 different inventors before voting for Leonardo da Vinci. Students reasoned that this inventor shared many STEM qualities that we express in our learning. Flat Leo has just returned from a visit to the Akron Zoo where he had a special behind the scenes tour as students complete problem-based learning units with the zoo. Stay tuned for more adventures with Flat Leo! We just saw him walk out our front door!
