Grade Five Learners Experience a Robotic Tournament

NIHF-STEM 5th grade learners participated in the annual Ozobot Robot Tournament in partnership with Goodyear. Goodyear engineers along worked in concert with the Digital Literacy classroom coding course to design a tournament track and competition for the learners. On Friday, May 13th, our learners took part in a team challenge in which they were judged by the Goodyear engineers. In addition to awards for the three top-scoring teams, individual learners who showed exceptional skills in team collaboration or innovation received personal awards and shared their competition strategies during the awards presentation. A new award this year was given to the learner who kept the best track notes in their journal. We are so proud of these determined learners!
