7th Grade Explorers

This week in Social Studies, 7th grade learners got to see the world through the eyes of explorers like Marco Polo with Coach Beldean. They created their own artifact journals and had a chance to try out a sextant - a navigation tool that allows the observer to estimate their latitude and longitude by measuring the angle between objects in the sky.
