The OSLN – Akron Hub is a regional facilitator that helps share effective (STEM) best practices from the National Inventors Hall of Fame® School ... Center for STEM Learning with a larger audience. Additionally, the OSLN – Akron Hub assists with the development of sustainable STEM partnerships between schools, higher education institutions, businesses, non-profits, government organizations and community groups.

The OSLN – Akron Hub values the opportunity to link students and educators, at any phase of learning, to principles and practices that help support economic development. To accomplish this, the OSLN – Akron Hub acts as an enabler for STEM education by providing services including presentations, workshops, professional development sessions and consulting services for educators and administrators interested in effective STEM best practices in use at the National Inventors Hall of Fame® School ... Center for STEM Learning. To help provide STEM best practices to the region and beyond, the OSLN – Akron Hub launched two online platforms: the Hub Website and the Training Center Site. Both of these sites feature materials about upcoming Hub professional development sessions, presentations and workshops, and much more.
The Hub website (AkronSTEM.org). provides information about upcoming STEM events, the Hub\'s network, partner organizations and schools. AkronSTEM.org also details the menu of services the Hub provides for educators and administrators looking to learn and implement STEM best practices.
